Sean84106
It did, but that wasn't what saintfan said. Thgis is a city after all that needed to amend its drink laws (Somehow but don't remember how exactly) in order to host the winter olympics.I was only pointing out that it didn't have to amend the laws in order to host the game. You've all got to realize something about Salt Lake City. It's not a typical Utah town. It, Park City and Moab are probably the most liberal towns within the state. The mayor, Rocky Anderson, is a Democratic Socialist and most people tend to be a bit different than typical Utahns. The problem here is that the city, like every municipality in the state, must abide by STATE WIDE drinking laws. That can't be created at a city level, rather a state level. That does hinder Salt Lake City's ability to allow alcohol, but in no way does that mean you can't get a drink. Our mayor is actually trying to change the dance laws for they close at 3, instead of 2. So to say SLC is boring would be like standing in a field full of dead grass and saying that ALL grass is yellow. It might be yellow where you're standing, but just venture out and you'll see that the color of grass is quite different.
Titanium Eagle
Has anyone else noticed the small Kings changes?http://tinyurl.com/4tphtThey removed the black totally from the uniform, and replaced it with white. (OMG T3H RACIST) and moved the front number to the center and made it bigger.
gorams1
The pic is pretty far away, but you can notice the black is gone, I'd rather they replaced it with silver than white, though.
the_cynic
thanks for being such a hateful jack*ss.. been to slc and hated it bud, sorry but yeah its boringHow was he a jackass for saying that? Seems to me that your the jackass for pointing it out!I'm with Sean on some things. It is pretty hard not to find something to do here in SLC. I know the city isn't for everyone and I can respect the fact that some don't like it, that's their choice. Don't pound on SLC because the majority of the region has higher standards than most of the world! That being said, I hate the Utah away but the more I see the homes, I'm starting to like them. Sometimes "simple" is more attractive that that's just my opinion, don't come after me! Sean84106
I actually like the Utah AWAY more than like the Utah HOME. However, I must admit, the DC floor ROCKS.
