maxwasson Posted June 23, 2023 Share Posted June 23, 2023 Hey @MJD7 I wonder if you going to do any jersey concepts surrounding the current relocation rumors for the Tampa Bay Rays as they've been having stadium issues recently, I know they once considering sharing Tampa Bay and Montreal before the pandemic but some other cities have been rumored as potential destinations too. Going back to the Toronto Giants, I hinted at a new color scheme they considered, which is one of my favorites: royal blue & green. The 'Stros had a "handshake" deal in the 90's to move to the DC area and become the "Virginia Fury," but it was rejected by the owners. And in this timeline, no Minute Maid Park and no Nationals Park. The jerseys are nice though, I like the cuff trim. Me too, it's definitely one of the most head-scratching near-moves of this series (It's also one of my least-favorite designs I've made for this series, but that's a separate discussion).
