  • Wyndham New Orleans, GMAC, Plains Capital Fort Worth, Pioneer Pure Vision Las Vegas, Sheraton Hawai'i, Motor City, Insight, Silicon Valley Classic, Continental Tire, Emerald [Nuts] - $750,000 per team.
  • Gaylord Hotels Music City - $780,000 per team.
  • Champs Sports Tangerine - $850,000 per team.
  • EV1.net Houston - $1.1 million per team.
  • Independence - $1.2 million per team.
  • AutoZone Liberty benefiting St. Jude's Children's Hospital - $1.35 million per team.
  • Vitalis Sun - $1.5 million per team.
  • MasterCard Alamo - $1.55 million.
  • Toyota Gator - $1.6 million per team.
  • Pacific Life Holiday - $2 million per team.
  • Chick-Fil-A Peach - $2.2 million per team.
  • Outback Bowl - $2.75 million per team.
  • Capital One Bowl - $5.1875 million per team.

Of course, this does not include the usual stuff (Travel, lodging and facilities, division between conference office and other teams, except for Navy and Notre Dame, which gets to keep all the monies as independent schools, et al).

Just thought you'd like to know.

"Looks like my Huskies will be shut out of a bowl again this season, seeing as how there's only two places for them to go."

They will go bowling, thank you. Motor City Bowl to be exact. Hope you like Detroit in December...not that there's anything wrong with a winter's date in Motown, though.

Conference USA- Cincinnati struggled at the begining of the season but have all of a suddon bounced back beating Southern Miss, and Memphis. I think the Cats can beat South Florida, and Im hoping we can upset Louisville. If so my guess is the Cats will be in the Plains Capital Fort Worth Bowl.

I was right UC is going to the Plains Capital Fort Worth Bowl!!

Today (12/04) is the last day before the rest of the bowl bids are handed out. The first post will be finally locked in after tomorrow's bids are handed out. After that, make predictions on who will win the games and post them here!

Hang on, UDub. Cal-Berkley wasn't chosen for the BCS. The look for the Pac-10 is this as Texas winds up in the Rose Bowl Game presented by citi:

  • California-Berkley - Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.
  • Arizona State - Vitalis Sun Bowl.
  • Oregon State - Insight Bowl.
  • UCLA - Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl.

And you go to the Champs Sports Tangerine Bowl.
