I hope the teams involved will be based on the results of the four major bowl games.I don't know about Fox having the rights. random Posted November 22, 2004 Share Posted November 22, 2004 No, the "stand alone" game uses the exact same system. The only difference is there are now 5 BCS games rather than 4, and the "Championship" game does not have the name of a bowl attached to it. The site will still rotate among Pro Player Field, Sun Devil Stadium, the Sugar Bowl, and the Rose Bowl, but the name of the championship will simply be "The National Championship" or something of that nature. The 4 traditional Bowls (Rose, Orange, Sugar, Fiesta" will still be there, and will still be BCS games, but wont be hosting the national title game.Confusing. Whether they agree with it or now, there's a terrific opportunity to make money.The BCS won't go anywhere because the Presidents of the schools don't want it to go anywhere.
