FiddySicks
hey guys im a huge bucs fan, obviously, and im looking at getting a throwback bucs jersey. im looking at either a Steve Young or a Doug Williams jersey from Mitchell and Ness. the only problem is that I either have to fork over $120 or $225. my question is, are they worth the money? or is there a cheaper way to get a quality throwback, maybee off of Ebay, or will i probably get ripped off? im really in a bind here guys so i need your input. KennyRock
In all my dealings with Ebay, I have yet to be ripped off, and I've always found a cheaper alternative than buying from a normal store. My suggestion is to hunt down a few Ebay auctions, and post the pics here so guys can tell ya if it's legit or not.
BaltimoreFan
Just did a search on Ebay for you. Here is what came up:Steve Young for 65 dollars but with 3 days leftSteve YoungHere might be a good buy for you. A blank throwback. You might be able to get someone to put the letter it and save alot of money. You can buy this jersey now for 20.96:Blank Jersey
Discrim
one shoe store around here, during their annual tent sale, has several old blank jerseys, including the old Bucs orange. unfortunately, being winter nobody's gonna throw a tent sale right now. i did get a blank Pats jersey (with the big shoulder logos) and also a blank Tennessee Oilers 98 jersey (how could I tell? easy: the logo)now if i could find a blank Pacers jersey... paynomind
I work right down the road from the mecca of throwback (and the single most anti-ICS haven on the planet) where you can get anything, any year, instock - Distant Replays. I have been in there drooling over everything.. but I'll tell you this: There really aint that much worth 225 about the throwbacks. I think if you wait another year or two, the rappers will move on to the clear fabric they made the Bobcats unis out of, and the throwbacks will come down in price hugely, maybe to the $99 range. The, they will be worth it.
