Stampman Posted December 30, 2004 Share Posted December 30, 2004 As every year, the CP & BN name a team of the year-voted on by Sports editors & broadcasters across Canada-and they vote on Canadian based & National teams -this year it's the Flames for their amazing playoff run.So that's cool to a Flames fan, and great for the team--congrats--Now if they only can get back to playing!(I can't believe I didn't post this sooner--I knew about it earlier today-well earlier Wednesday)There's a story currently on the Flames homepage...The Flames also won the award in 1989 when they won the Cup--although that year they were expected to challenge for it.
