Secret Shoppers? Someone explain this for the 14 year old.

Though, having never been in a "customer serivce" position, I believe it's people hired by the retailers who basically check on each employee and the service they are getting and send that information back to the managers.

Cha-ching. That's what I thought.

I'll walk away myself for saying cha-ching.

I think they might be strict at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Then again Ive only been there once, it was in the upper level, and those seats actually werent bad, except for some fans cheering for the Diamondbacks were behind us.

Most of the ushers in GABP are from the Riverfront days. It was pretty hard then, and its still pretty hard now. i went to 6 games last year (before I moved away from cincy, it was almost every time they played i went).

i got free tickets to the 49ers seahawks game in san francisco earlier this year and snuck down to the first row on the fifty ehind the 49ers bench. the usher just laughed and said she was suprized i wanted to see the ugliness that close up. and accually, the seats were terrible. you had to stand up to see over the players on the sidelines every time you wanted to see the field

Tiger Stadium used to be pretty easy to get into the good seats, (plus I knew all the ushers from being down there so much) but now at Comerica, the ushers are alot more iron fisted than they were. Basically, unless you know one of the ushers, you're pretty much confined to the seats you bought.

To the guys here who are ushers, does this practice even matter to you after a certain point in the game, or do your employers make it a big deal no matter what the attendance or stage of the game? I know that at Tiger Stadium after the 7th inning the ushers didn't really care where you were sitting, just that you weren't inebriated, swearing, or running onto the field.
