andrewharrington Posted January 9, 2005 Share Posted January 9, 2005 i am a piping nazi. for this reason, i will tell the hokies to their faces that they were stupid for changing their uniforms. they were simple, classy, and unique with the off color shoulder numbers. a note, the all maroon helmet/mask with no stripe is among the most attractive in ncaa fottball, im not sure im a fan of your orange facemask and tapered stripe. it was, however, a noble effort flame. Before they changed em, those were extremely nice looking, classy, and the off-color shoulder numbers were pretty unique. I also liked the alternates they had one year {When I find pics I'll post it}. Then they changed them this year, and at first I was like "Bleah, those junks are horrible". But then I saw it on the field, and I guess I was sold on it because of the striping and the fact that it was all fluidly flowing in one uniform motion IMO.
