Survival79 Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 I think the problem is you are uploading the file to Photobucket as a .bmp larger than 250 KB, which means it is automatically being resized. Try saving the original .bmp as a .jpg, .gif, or .png and make sure it is smaller than 250 KB then upload it. IronChefShark Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 its because youre not converting to GIF.bmps take up a lot of bytes and photobucket automatically resizes files that are too big.by converting to gif you get a large image that doesnt take up much as far as KBs go. All my concepts were saved in Paint--and you get a choice.Click on save as-now under where you tyoe in the name you should have a spot with a drop down menu-Paint usually defaults to bmp--but to save as another format then click on the arrow and choose the other format-and BTW in Paint-gifs usually make the image look spotty--try png Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here."
