while diggin around windows draw, I found the original versions of my Vandy FB and Giants concepts, complete in the old StL Fanatic template (the one with the rounded sleeves). I also found a long-forgotten logo set I did as a Hofstra set. Using the knowledge I'd gained since then, I updated the whole thing and made an addition. The below is the result.

Do not adjust your screen, the sleeve logo is indeed a flying wooden shoe. Why's the helmet white on white, though? Easy answer-the flying flag doesn't look good on a helmet and I'm not putting a wooden shoe on a helmet.

Those're actually pretty nice. Of course, there is the possibility of an all-highlighter alternate...

The first thing that struck me was the yellow.

Is that really the shade of yellow they use?

As vicfurth alludes to, it looks like it's drawn with a highlighter.

Aprt from that, really nice.

The white logo doesn't look that bad, there's plenty of blue to counter it.

And I like the striping on the arms.

PS Hofstra, is that named after the union guy that got killed? Jimmy Hofstra?

Yo, and I thought I was the only Hofstra person here. Yo that concept is pretty cool, I like it.

Since we got a hofstra post here I might as well post my Hofstra hockey concept, from when they were looking for new roller hockey uni's.

heh, first I get mistaken for a Michigan State fan at the mall, now this...heh, this one's my own fault, I wanted to lead in with one of Goldmember's memorable lines and decided to say "Hofstra" instead of "Holland"...guess I shoulda said the latter, we don't hear from our Dutch contingent much.

Being from Long Island (very close to Hofstra...took the LSAT there) I always thought that only Long Islanders went there and not "out of towners." Hempstead was such a fun place to work.

thanks...but this here's about as retro as Minority Report. heck, the striping's modeled after the Avalanche...retro's the very last thing I woulda expected anybody to call this, honestly
