jkrdevil
I'm starting to put together my concept site. It will be called DevUniforms. Here is the logo I made. Tell me what you think of it. copy/pasteLogo
Fusebazell
I think its nice but some improvements could be made. I like the idea of the devils horns logo but I think it could be a little sharper then what it is. I also liked the font you used for uniforms. hockeygator
I think that the font you used for DEV needs to be changed. It just seems blah right now. As for the design, I agree with Fusebazell that it needs to be a little sharper.
jkrdevil
I changes the DEV font to match the uniforms. I think it looks much better with that.

sc49erfan15
I like the idea, but I personally hate that font. I don't know why, but every time I see it used I just hate it. You also could do some better production work on the horns (they ARE horns...right?) but it definitely has potential.
Fusebazell
Did you take the horn logo from the New Jersey Devils logo? ??? ???
jkrdevil
Yes, but I don't have a vector logo of it. I just used auto-trace, since I'm new to illustrator and not that good with the pen tool.
hockeygator
Maybe this will help.NJ vector image
jkrdevil
thanks gator, I got one question. Like I said I'm new to illustrator, How dou I select just the horns to get from the image. It's all connected.
hockeygator
The way I would do this -Get the Direct Selection Tool (the white arrow) and select the black circle and white backgrounds that you don't need, and delete them. Then when you are only left with the red logo, choose the Delete Anchor Point Tool and remove all the points you don't need. All I can tell you is that you will learn Illustrator by practice. I just kept trying (and trying, and trying) until it did what I wanted it to do. One method to get better at the pen tool is to draw hearts. This involves drawing straight lines as well as curved ones, and it is a simple design. Good luck.

tajmccall
I dont know, it looks like either a canoe, or two elf shoes.i think if you were to use a distinctive part of the devils logo, it would be a better play to use the arrow tail.
hockeygator
jkrdevil - you may want to flatten out the bottom part of the logo there, or round it out to match the circle around the logo.
