NYRangers Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 I was watching the 1981 USC-UCLA game the other night on ESPN Classic and both teams wore their Dark Jerseys. I think both schools played their home games in the same stadium so was it a home game for each? I remember seeing older clips from the 60's and 70's which appear to show both teams wearing dark jerseys as well. Does anyone have any insight?I thought it looked very cool!!! MJWalker45 Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 I think until the early 90's USC/UCLA almost always wore their darks. UCLA plays at the Rose Bowl and USC at the Coliseum. I don't ever remember them sharing a stadium. I think they are so far apart in colors that it's almost a shame that they both don't wear the darks for this game. Then they started messing with the number font a bit... Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."
