marlinfan
Rockies acquired RHP Zach Day, outfielder J.J. Davis and a player to be named or cash from the Nationals for outfielder Preston Wilson. The Rockies weren't going to get draft picks if they let Wilson leave as a free agent and there's been months for better offers to come in, so there's nothing wrong with this trade. Day is an adequate fourth starter in any park and his extreme groundball tendencies should make him a real asset at Coors Field. Davis will have a career as a bench player someday and still might be more than that. All things considered, it's hard to complain about GM Dan O'Dowd's moves today. tp49
Sure, the people who's numbers went up after leaving Coors were pitchers and the number that went up was their win total.
