Bernd
It's nice to see Duisburg's zebra-striped socks back in the Erste Lige. They looked sartorially sharp in their tie on Saturday.Bremen's home jersey this year is a disaster.

tommytimp
I like the asymmetry of the Hannover and Frankfurt kit, although I wish the Thomson logo weren't so distractingly, cartoonishly huge on the Hannover strip. DomainMaster
Interesting...Bayern wore white socks and white shorts with the gold shirts? I haven't seen the highlights yet and haven't looked for a photo. I think I might like that better than the gold w/ black. Did they do that at all last season? timmy b
from domain master: "Bayern wore white socks and white shorts with the gold shirts? I haven't seen the highlights yet and haven't looked for a photo. I think I might like that better than the gold w/ black. Did they do that at all last season?"according to my research, no. strictly black shorts & socks.however, note that bayern was playing in leverkusen where black is a major color for bayer. but last season in leverkusen, bayern did wear black shorts and socks. maybe bayer wasn't thrilled with that, so maybe the dfb - under pressure from leverkusen - forced bayern's hand to wear the white accessories.tb
DomainMaster
Yeah, I figured that Bayer04's black shorts was the reason for the change. I actually do like the white with gold better but the red trim on the white makes it look like it was kind of thrown together at the last minute. Also, I'm glad to see Bremen's white with green sash jersey back, even if just for an away match. For some reason, I thought it was gone this year.

DomainMaster
munchen: red, red, red. berlin: navy/white*, navy, navy/white.*berlin's shirts were navy/white striped front with navy sleeves and back (akin to last year's primary shirt).Any reason why Hertha would have worn those? I think they're much, MUCH better than the new Primaries (and I liked the lighter blue striped version from a couple years back even more) but it would seem they could have easily worn the plain blues without any problems vs Bayern's all reds. Just wondering.
