Would Desmond Howard technically be right for II? He was a wide receiver, but I'm pretty sure he won it as a kick returner.

Yah, it was b/c of his special teams work that he got the MVP in XXXI (that kick he returned for a TD after the Pats made it a game was the backbreaker)...I was gonna include him on it for number II, but I decided against it....

I still blame him single-handedly for the plight of the Falcons in that game. (John Elway is a close second.)

Hooker or not, Robinson was getting burned by Elway and Rod Smith.
