Cronin, who graduated from LaSalle High Scholl in Cincinnati, was an assistan under Bob Huggins at UC, then left to become an assistant at Louisville under Rick Pitino, and after that was named as Head Coach of Murray State.This is a shock to Cincinnati fans everywhere. The announcement came just an hour after UC's loss to South Carolina in the NIT-- please pick a somewhat descriptive title for your topics... Last night they did not allow his post game comments to be played over the PA system at Fifth Third Arena because they thought he was going to bash the team and university.(Which he didnt) An hour later he was fired and Mick Cronin named Head Coach. Andy now goes to Ole Miss while Bob Huggins who has been out of basketball this year will go to Kansas State. I wish the best of luck to them but, to be honest Im not real happy with Mick.
