The cup final appearance aside, he was one of those "hump" coaches - can't get 'em over that certain hump that makes them a better team. He was actually well liked here (and rightly so), but he always reminded me of Bobby Cox (able to consistently reach a level, but rarely if ever surpass it) so I never was terribly impressed by his capabilities.
