Norfolk Penguins

If they Penguins would move to Norfolk, VA, it would be a dream come true to see an NHL franchise here in Virginia. So, I made a concept of what I think they should look like if they were to come here. So, they're not, I can still dream.

I had a thought: Alter the triangle behind the penguin so it look like a "V" for Virginia, or an "N" for Norfolk.

Not feelin the powder blue helmet on the navy jersey, but other than that, I like em.

I like the colour combination--and I still think of it when I think of the Pens.

I would make the shoulder patches a bit smaller though--but that's mostly it-

although I wuld personally use the Penguin skating logo--but maybe that's just me--the "V" thing is fitting.

If these were real--I'd buy one.

I like the colour combo, though the Navy with White shoulders looks a little like Tampa for my liking.

I'd love to see a Dennis Blue Alt with Navy shoulders.

Like the idea, but I can't agree with pairing such a dark navy with black. On the fronts of the sweaters, there's no border to the crest, which puts black up next to navy with no clear separation of the two. It looks awkward having those two colors together like this - especially considering that black is nowhere else to be found.

that's what I was thinking. Just give the logo a white outline on the dark jersey, maybe make the penguin blue, and get rid of the light blue helmet and I think you've got a winner.

I'd ditch the primary and remove the triangle from behind the skating penguin because that symbolizes Pittsburgh and the three rivers. It would make no sense with Norfolk.
