spyboy1 Posted November 20, 2003 Share Posted November 20, 2003 On a mac, if you hit shift/command(apple) and the number 4, you will get a 'cross hairs' on your monitor. Then click and drag the area you want to capture and it will 'take a photo' of the area you have selected and save it to your hard drive. You can then take that image capture and drag it to your photoshop or illustrator icon to open the image in those programs.Simply clicking on the icon of the picture will open it in simple text or picture viewer and doesn't allow you to work with it.Shift/command(apple) and the number 3 will take a picture of your entire screen and all the clutter on it.JeffB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
