EatSleepJeep
That was an ugly landing. I hope he's OK.Reminds me of Torii Hunter knocking himself out on the fence after tracking down a ball.

ZapRowsdower8
Hell of a hit, but word is that he didn't hold onto the ball. Hopper was congratulated in the Reds clubhouse for placing the ball into the other outfielders glove while he was laying there, according to the Junker and Crow show on ESPN 1250. Either way, hope the guy is ok.
floydnimrod
Actually Freel didn't make the catch, I watched it again on espn and their cameras show that Norris Hopper puts the ball back into Freel's glove.Hopefully Freel won't be out long. EatSleepJeep
Then they got away with a fast one. Reports are saying the scans came back negative. He was treated for a contusion and is going to be reevaluated today.
Brendan
I find it riduclous that the best baseball players in the world cant call for a ball. Maybe the players were running to call but there other occasions where its preventable.
