Depending on when the photo was shot, the stadiums show varying degrees of use. Some fields are shown in play, while others are in the off season (even for the same sport).One interesting image I saw was at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon Ducks. It looks like the photo was captured during the pre-game activities as the Ducks were about to run onto the field through the cheerleaders. The World Basketball Championship, the Davis Cup, Ryder Cup, Iraq: Every day there's further proof that we, as a nation, are not very good at international competition.
