the only thing that always bothered me is that if you saw the chiefs helmet

you would have no idea their colors are red and yellow

maybe add yellow to the helmet somewhere

i like the red/yellow helmet version shown here

I see your point, but does it really matter that if you only saw the Indian Head, you wouldn't know the Blackhawks' colors were red and black?

thats a logo though

and that logo would go with about 20 differnet color combos

the longhorns logo is orange (not orange and white)

the indy colt logo is blue (not blue and white)

kansas state logo is purple (not purple and silver)

but all their helmets are the team colors

Here, I removed the feathers on the other side of the face. Looks much better now. Tempest, could you tell me specifically what needs to be improved in the face?

The face looks too elfish. He needs to look more native (but be careful not to make a racist caricature).

The nose should bend the other way. The eyes should be smaller. Emphasize the cheekbones.

removing the backside feathers made a world of difference, it looks much better. I do agree with Jezus about the face though. It does not not look like an American Indian. Great progession though. These are the kinds of concept threads that make this board what it is.
