CJR
Anyone notice that the Western and Eastern Conference logos used on ESPNs graphics for the NHL SuperSkills player intros were different colors than usual? The Western Conference logo was purple like it used to be and the Eastern Conference was green. Anyone know why? NHL.com still has a blue Western Conference logo and a red Eastern Conference logo. STL FANATIC
whoa! thats like 6 years agoBut the green looked darker to me than the teal they used to have.I noticed the old colors too. In the YoungStars game when they put up the guys face underneath the East logo looked teal, but later in the Skills comp it seemed dark green... STL FANATIC
I thought that too, and thought, well maybe that's red not purple, but then I realized the West was in green and the East in red, so it wouldn't have made sense anyway. NJTank
I know that is one of Bettmans biggest failings as Comish if they had a better broadcast partenr times would not be as tough. Bettman shoudl have objected to ESPNs deal with the NBA insiting they kept the smae coverage they had before siging the NBA, now NHL games are ahrdly ever on ESPN, and they never even tell you when they show the games, they also have lame advertising for the games Hockey is American yeesh. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

As much as Fox did goofy graphic stuff, their coverage was a lot better. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
