BYE BYE KIDD!!! HELLO DEVIN HARRIS

There's gratitude for you.....

All Kidd did was lead the Nets franchise to its first period of consistent, tangible success since Dr. J was playing for them in the ABA.

You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. Kind of a low-rent DG_Now.

I wasn't a big Kidd fan, and I'm very excited to see what Harris can do for the team.

OT, but is Van Horn going to play at all? That would be awesome.

I heard that he would be waived, but then again, why include him as such a key part of the deal (the fact that the deal was only going to happen if he did a sign-and-trade) just for the Nets to not play him?

But I doubt he'll play. It's too bad, too, because he was on the Nets the last time he meant anything.

as far as i remember, he had to agree to at least be willing to try to play, and if the coach didn't want him to suit up he would have to be a major part of the locker room/bench for the whole year. thats what i understood from what i heard on the radio and read. i don't know how you put that into a contract, but thats the idea of it.
