This turned into 30 people with their eyes glued to the TV. It was a super bowl party atmosphere watching a hockey game. Even though I wanted Detroit to win I still appreciated the moment. I'd like to think so. It seems to me that this year hockey in general was simply just more relevant than years past. When the Bruins finished a strong 2nd back before the lockout it seemed to me that no one really cared, this year the black and gold was everywhere. This makes me wonder, was it like this is in everyone elses market (where the team was some sort of producing results).
