OrangeBalloonCoast
I need some help on this Duke football uniform that I'm working on. I'm not sure what I should do with the back of the jersey. I would like the blue to end on the top part of the jersey, only I'm not sure how to go about doing this? As far as the nameplate goes, I don't know what font to use that would compliment the Old English font of the numbers? Thanks in advance for the help. Thad
I think those numbers (and the nameplate that had a font to match) would be hard to read on TV or from the stands. Try a thicker, more traditional font. I think you have a good idea with what your doing though. BBTV
You're going to have to customize that font if you're hell bent on going with an old English style for the numbers. All those little extensions make it look horrible on a jersey. If you edited each number a bit to remove those, you may be able to pull this off. You can't always just download a font and apply it to a jersey right out of the box. Fix it up.As for the nameplate, three suggestions:1. block2. block3. blockIf you want to use a custom number font, then go with a plain nameplate font so that there's nothing competing for attention with the numbers. Look at the Ravens for example - highly stylized numbers, plain block NOB. Looks great. OrangeBalloonCoast
thanks for the feedbackI wondered if it would work if I kept a more stylized font, only thicker, because Duke has that whole prestigious gothic feel that they want to project... anyway here are some thicker numbers that may or may not work
