Top Shelf
Old: New: I like it. Definite Upgrade in my book.
KevinMcD
I actually noticed this a few weeks ago since FNFG is my bank and was going to post it, but forgot. I like the older picture better, however the new font is 10 times better. However I will say it is an upgrade.
SG30
The one by my house just changed. I did like the old picture but I do feel this is an upgrade.
KevinMcD
Yea, the one in Orchard Park was changed when I drove past a week ago or so, I first noticed on a statement they sent me. However the one here in Cortland has not changed yet.
gordie_delini
It's better than the original, but the execution on the type doesn't flow with the icon. My guess is client meddling on that point (given my experience), but overall it doesn't quite work for me.
Wasatch
I personally like the old icon better, so it's too bad they couldn't have just updated the font.
winters in buffalo
I'm not sure that's an improvement. I'd say it's a change of equal quality. The font is better, although still not very bank-like. The new icon is too abstract. The old one stood on its own, which is one of the first things I look for in a good logo. -kj
I would actually say the opposite. The new icon is great, but the text doesn't fit at all. The old text would look good with it, though it could use a couple tweaks. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! JQK
I can see that.Actually, looking at it... if you swapped the wordmarks of both, I think both identities would actually look good. Better matched.Edit: Like so... Stay Tuned Sports Podcast

Wasatch
JQK, you're a genius! Either one of those would work wonderfully now!
Dezin26
The new logo is a huge improvement. The modern, sleek, contemporary design elements give the bank much more of a "corporate feel." It seems so much more "streamline." I am a member of First Niagara and the new colors are impacting, vibrant and eye catchy. Great new re-design! The logo mark is very unique design element as well.
