Simple fade wallpapers

This is why people hate gradients. Used in the right way, gradients can work, in the wrong way, gradients kill an image. I'd show you a classic example of this, with a website I'm doing, but it's not live yet and the client wants a gradient thinking that it's "unique". While they may think it's unique, it makes the site look like something from 1998. I tried to get them to go to a solid blue, but they wouldn't.
