FiddySicks
Foxsports.com linkNOT good news for Kareem. My first college english teacher was writing a book with him while I was in his class, so I got to meet him once. He's an extremely nice guy, and he'll be in my prayers. Wasatch
This is very unfortunate to have this happen to a guy, who so many of us have looked up to! Luckily his prognosis isn?t too bad and he should be fine.
TFoA
Yeah, it's definitely good to see that the prognosis looks very good, considering that leukemia is scary. I hope he'll be able to make it through this, I'm rooting for him now more than ever.
infrared41
My understanding is that the type of leukemia he has can be managed pretty easily. That's good news to me because Kareem is my all-time favorite athlete in any sport. I'd like to see him stick around for a while.
NJTank
If I can recall Donn Clendenon of the 1969 Mets had Leukema like this and lived another 15+ years with it. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
CDixonDesign
Glad to see that he's going to be ok in the long run, it's been reported he won't have to make many life changes or go through intense medical care, i'm glad that someone like him is going to be going through this because it is a wonderful opportunity for people to become aware and inspired by him becoming an advocate for Leukemia...
