rams80
You are right. I am talking about what America originally stood for. The benefit of all. Helping eachother, even if it calls for personal sacrifice.Um, the founders didn't believe in that socialist definition of "the benefit of all." They believed that by helping one's self, one would boost the economy in their own way, and through everybody's personal hard work, all would be benefited with very little sacrifice necessary.Of course, certain rules and regulations were in place to ensure that the personal hard work of slaves, women, and the landless would not benefit them as much as it did the white male landowners. They believed that by helping one's self, one would boost the economy in their own way, and through everybody's personal hard work, all would be benefited with very little sacrifice necessary.I am not talking about redistribution of wealth. I am talking about everywhere littered in our texts how the benefit of the whole is tied to the success of the individual, as well as the sacrifice of an individual to help benefit the whole. That's what America has always stood for, since its birth. Not just stepping on everyone's head to get to the top, but when you get to the top, to reach down, and help someone else get there. I just find it hard to believe how much people have forgot (or just never knew) about basic principles and morals of the country. Now we're not even talking about the same socialism. Classy. The murder charge is interesting, though.Although, I confess a lack of awareness of the Tampa Bay sporting message board community. Is this a small cottage board or the teams "official" unofficial site.
