Mingjai
Yup, the WESTERN College Hockey Association has a new logo.Press releaseFor comparison, the old:Given the outcome, they probably could have handled this redesign in house...Same font, bigger W, and they filled in all the little white spaces in the A and the player. Didn't do anything to streamline the profile of the logo at all. Visit my store on REDBUBBLE
TopCat
Take the old logo, give it a nicer font, and fill in the details on the player. facebook | @thebugcollector
rams80
Just Got TougherI didn't think Nebraska-Omaha or Bemidji State were that good. Especially historically. stumpygremlin
The conference does include national hockey powers North Dakota, Denver, and Colorado College. I'd say the conference is plenty tough That said, the logo is kind of a lateral move (except the larger W, which I'm not feeling). The "Just got tougher" thing should also go from the logo. I get it in the announcement, but not as a full part of the logo.An interesting thing is Penn State is going to join. I'm not envious of those trips from State College, PA to Anchorage, AK

I'm not envious of those trips from State College, PA to Anchorage, AKNo they aren't.They'll either go to the CCHA or join a Big Ten Hockey Conference startup. Latter more likely than the former. Geoff
Disagree, Rams. While everyone knows there will eventually be a BTHC, I think the Penn State to the CCHA move will happen first.
