1990hornet
Now it's not perfect as I'm not a graphic artist, but I think it's good enough you'll get the idea.
AnythingChicago
This is really unique. I like it a whole lot. Pinstripes really work with the Rays. Are there going to be roads and alts to follow?
1990hornet
No, I kinda wish there would be, but this is the only one that weighed on my mind. The only thing I had in mind for a possible road is that Tampa Bay would be on it, not "Rays". raysox
C'mon man. With one of the biggest rivals wearing pinstripes for 100 years, navy pinstripes too, this doesn't work. The navy front looks awkward also, like BYUs bib jersey. @MichaelDanger19Â | Dribbble
1990hornet
bump, why the lack of input?
vicfurth
Because all ya did was color in a Yankees uniform and slap on rays logos
1990hornet
and that disqualifies it? really? too high of standards. geez.
vicfurth
Lack of effort generally disqualifies anything. Besides, having a solid front and pinstripe back doesn't look good. It's not that our standards are too high, we just happen to actually have some.
1990hornet
Lack of effort?! I worked at this, you disqualified it because I said I wasn't a graphic artist and had to take a few shortcuts.
vicfurth
Actually, I didn't even bother reading that part. Stop making excuses, take the criticism, and improve. I assume you want to improve, right?
1990hornet
No not really. I just wanted to get across my idea which I believe I have. If you can't give an idea credence because it's not "professionally done" then maybe you're standards are too high. Last I checked this place is for fun, it's not a board room meeting. Chazberg
No not really. I just wanted to get across my idea which I believe I have. If you can't give an idea credence because it's not "professionally done" then maybe you're standards are too high. Last I checked this place is for fun, it's not a board room meeting. You got your idea across. If you don't care enough to want to improve it, then you shouldn't care what we think about it anyway. But the degree of professionalism of the concept's execution is irrelevant in our feedback. We aren't giving your idea credence because it's not creative. You took the (more famous and successful) rival team's uniform and colored a part in. charles-noerenberg.com
1990hornet
you misunderstand something, I said I don't want to improve my skills, I didn't say i don't want to improve the jersey.
1990hornet
We aren't giving your idea credence because it's not creative.First off, that sounds like ego to me. Second, I don't exactly need credence just opinions. Maybe that's to much to ask from y'all. Won't ever bother again with any of my "unprofessional" and "uncreative" ideas. Won't ever bother again with any of my "unprofessional" and "uncreative" ideas.I only used the word credence because you did, but it's the same thing. The seemingly popular opinion of your idea is that it borrows heavily from a rival team, so there's not much else to say about it. Yet you still cling faithfully to this idea that we are criticizing you because your concept was executed in an unprofessional way, which no one here besides you yourself has suggested, so I'm not sure how else to get through to you. charles-noerenberg.com

Chazberg
That's OK man, it happens that way sometimes. But that doesn't mean you can't improve it, and that's all we're trying to help you with. You can't take criticism personally (at least when it comes to this board...) charles-noerenberg.com
1990hornet
any ideas then?
Chazberg
Well first I'd lose the pinstripes. The Rays have been using their plaid in an interesting way recently, and they're starting to create kind of a new identity with it, so maybe you could find a way to work that in somehow (without making it look like a bad golf outfit)? charles-noerenberg.com
