TheOneAndOnlyMau
I had this idea for my own personal logo the other day. Can I get some feedback?

Rayman
I think it's nice, really liking how it's laid out!Excellent design ..also if your going to deal with music as well, the logo also looks like the letter M is wearing headphones.. just saying lol
Cola
I think you could be a little more abstract here, especially with how your letter combination sets up nicely.
ironcity
It's not bad. I was obsessed with symmetrical logos when I started designing. There are some things that could be changed to make it better though. The diagonals of the M are thinner than the rest of the lines. They also appear to cut into the vertical lines as well. I'd thicken up the line weight all around and make sure it's the same though out. Good start.

drdougfresh
It's a great start, and certainly sufficient as a logo. But I know you know how to spruce things up, and I think you can do it with this. It's a little 'thin' for my tastes, I would use the line you have here to make something a little more 'bold' and with some more character. Great start though! And lucky you for having a name that lends itself to symmetry!
