Wyoming Football adds uniform

Recommended Posts

Author might want to check out the college fotoball thread every once in a while. Wyo had this helmet last season and we've seen matte helmets in plenty of other colors (including Miss State's maroon and Baylor's dark gree).

Yeah I'm not quite sure how the brown helmet flew under the radar. The helmet was worn in several variations last year haha

it actually is a new helmet DECAL (apparently in college football just changing the decal means it is a "new helmet"); if you look closely, the cowboy has a camo detail to it as well to match the uniform it goes with;

Well the article does state:

"Not sure we’ve seen the matte helmet look with anything but black and grey, so I believe this is unique."

That of course doesn't take into account Miss. State, Toledo, Cincinnati to name a few that have colored matte. But as for the new decal, it looks something like so. It could have been cool if it was just worn with the normal home set.
