illwauk
Packers News just posted this to facebook. I knew the Packers played some charity basketball games in the 80s and 90s, but I had no idea they were doing that all the way back in 1959-60, when this photo is from.Bottom row, from left, Al Carmichael, Babe Parilli, Bill Butler, Tom Bettis and Lew Carpenter.Top row, from left, Jack Morton, Dan Currie, Jim Temp, Bob Skoronski and Gary Knafelc. smith03
The Vikings had a basketball team during at least the 70s to mid 80s. Just say NO to gray facemasks.

Gothamite
Here's a better look at the uniform itself. A former player donated it to the Packers Hall of Fame.By 1963, the Packers' basketball team was known as the "Packer-derms". Don't know if that name goes all the way back to 1959.
