M4One
I was watching a very short documentary about the 1984 draft and how the Devils and Penguins were basically doing everything possible to lose so they could draft Mario Lemiuex 1st. I saw a few seconds which had a Devil wearing a jersey that was slightly different from their original uniforms where it was a red stripe at the bottom, not a white hem. I searched a bit and found this picture and then found a team photo on the Devils' own website where one player had that same uniform and everyone else was different. Number 4 on the right. Anyone seen it before and know why the difference?
wonderbread
Some players sew up the hem because they like the feel better
BrianLion
Weird thing is that Cirella didnt really use the hemming for any other part of his career
Ark
Is he wearing black? That really doesn't look like green in any way.
IceCap
It's green. Older photographs weren't the best at distinguishing dark green from black.
