Nas
Welp, I guess there's a first time for everything. I didn't plan on making a new concept or showing the ones I've made here today, but this kinda started on accident. I was looking at this thread, which I've recently decided would be the place to get the hockey jersey design templates (it's my favorite sport, and the only sport I plan to make concepts for). I looked at the Bruins' 1996 3rd on there for some odd reason and decided to play around with it. I switched the colors around, and made it white and blue. Then, I had an instant brainstorm, I had the inspiration to make it a Rangers jersey. 6-ish hours later of recoloring, perfecting down to the smallest detail, I finally finished what I accidentally started.TL;DR, my first concept here is a jersey based on the Rangers Lady Liberty jerseys, as well as the Bruins' gold thirds from 96-06. I love making these, and I can't wait to share more in the future with you guys! (full/bigger version here)What do you think?
Jake3roo
I know you want the jagged look, but you may have overdone it
Brass
It's different, but I do like it. I wouldn't want to see the Rangers use something this crazy for their jerseys, but the colors in the striping works. Perhaps try the same color order in the stripes, but make the jersey more conservative looking? I think if you evened out the jagged lines, you'd have a killer concept.Welcome aboard. But yeah, I didn't intend to make a concept out of it initially, but I'm still happy with how it came out. Though I'm upset I don't know how to arch the player names yet, but I may in due time. Though, evening out the lines would basically be the original Lady Liberty jerseys with waist stripes and a shoulder yoke.Though, I wouldn't want the Rangers to be wearing anything but what they do full-time on the home and road. I intended this to be an alternate concept. It was originally just the white one, but I figured I make a matching blue one as well. I'm sure most wouldn't want the Liberty jerseys to take over the full time home/road sweaters, but most were alright with it as an alternate. Do you think this would work well for them as well, just as an alt?
