    The new Gulls logo I do like but wish they would have used the IHL Gulls logo that was so cool but it gonna be very interesting to see how the AHL does in San Diego for next season....

    I think there was a backup place for the NHL Jets to move their farm team back to Winnipeg for 1 year or to either Saskatoon or Regina... I'm not sure if these 3 options are still being considered what with Thunder Bay not getting going on the shovelling for the new arena?? Do feel free to correct me if I am mistaken on this ok?

    that's the thing, ren... I have been trying to get a copy of the logo to do side by side.. the original logo on one side and the other one to try to trace and somehow thicken up the lines.. but ehh I am lost somehow.. guess Illustrator somehow is new to me...just need to get the hang of it somehow but have to try again later...

    I have been trying to make a look like that but couldnt somehow get the lines copied or so.. I wonder if I did something wrong?but that is amazing!!!

    What post # was the tutorial? Think it was on page 43 or 44 or 45... Ahh.. ok but I also wonder about the tracing and copying of the specific logo onto the art board and then work on the outlines to darken and then do the colors.. that tracing thing I wanna know as I am trying but with some difficult time.. somehow cannot trace and copy well.. can you explain more in depth?

    Ren.. a question.. I did see that 2nd part of the tutorial and am still curious... want to know if you have had to copy the old logo the older version and do a side by side work with the original logo and the 2nd side of the improved logo by tracing and putting in specific colors to match up? I used to do some tracing by hand on some NHL logos years ago and colored them.. but lately been too lazy with printing the specific logos out and laminating them (that I havent done in what, over 10 years now..) I would love to try my hand at this via Illustrator which you have mentioned I did download the trail version but am puzzled as to how to put side by side the original logo before the re working, you know? Hard to explain this without messing everything up.. seeing all these original logos and the results of the logos improved beyond any imagination has gotten me thinking about trying again with tracing and working on logos after these years... i would have to try to practice on a simple logo to get the general idea of what you have been doing and then that will give me basically everything that has been done with the specific logo to be reworked.. btw that Atlanta Hawks logo on page 57 I think.. that one even blew me away and tat other logo of that Hawks logo in the Sports Logos website really need to be fixed up good!!!! wow... just speechless for sure still after getting thru this entire topic.. some amazing work and more... wow... I bow my head to ya, ya are indeed the top man!

    Ren I gotta say this, ya are definitely one god blessing talented guy!!!!!! wow I'm speechless at the work on the old logos to make them more modern without messing with the history.. wow.. .wonder what program ya use for this?? I am thinking about doing something like this but am not sure how to properly do it well enough similar to what ya are doing.. just speechless at all the work. havent gotten all the way halfway thru this topis as I wanna reply and etc.. wow...

    Yesterday I was at a sport card store and what do I see?? a 2007 Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup ring.. with Selanne on it!! I asked the owner if I can see the ring and try it on.. size 9 ring but wow the size of the ring is huge!!!! Should have taken a pic but acckkk.. oh funny thing the price the owner asked was $65!! I kid ya not!!! Am so tempted to buy that ring but want to see what the hell up with other stuff first.. If I ever get that ring I will try to post a pic but depending on what happens.. still that 2007 Cup ring is beautiful...

    A question.. what would happen if the NHL decide all of a sudden to let the Coyotes move to Quebec City before this coming NHL Draft?? Will the Nordiques names and jersey (practice jersey of the old Nords logo??) be used asap? or is it too damn late to get all set up fast? That i wonder.. got an odd feeling it might happen soon (but I could be mistaken on this... )

    That would have been cool to see on tv for the 1995-96 season if the Nordiques hadnt moved to Colorado..but I wouldnt be surprised if there were a few of that still around in hiding or so?

    I just clicked on that link..and I must say, that is a perfect way to show the banners and etc in each NHL arena and can be said the same for any NBA arena, MLB stadium and NFL & CFL stadium, and more to mention eh?
