Completely bailed out. They got two very good games, and ultimately got the two undefeated teams in the title game. Now they won’t have people (including me) whining excessively about the final two.

Insane day of football. Incredible games, and the two teams that jumped FSU are gonzo so that should quiet that whole thing a bit. I think Michigan runs away with it next Monday, but Washington is very solid, has one of the best QBs in the country, and seems to have a Golden horseshoe shoved up their asses so who knows? I’ll for sure be pulling for U Dub so the PAC 12 wins the title in its final season.

The whole thing goes well beyond football, but we’re not really supposed to get into all of that here anymore. Let’s just say I agree with you. Texas looks cooked, and like they have absolutely no idea what Penix is doing. Lots of people were big mad about Bama getting into the playoffs, but Texas is the one that really bugged me. I don’t see how the Big 12 was so much better than the ACC to justify that. They’re obviously the weakest of these four, and them getting worked tonight just makes the whole FSU fiasco look even more like a shameless ratings grab. Of course :censored:ing Bama caused all of this by losing to the horns and beating Georgia. I would really love to see them catch a postseason ban for a few seasons. Give us all a break.

Yeah if Washington can clean up the mistakes they’ll be in pretty good shape. I don’t really see either of these teams putting up much of a fight vs Michigan, but I think Washington would definitely have a better shot.

Philly fans are so crazy that the cops have to grease up all the stoplights and light poles to prevent those psychos from climbing them any time they’re close to a championship. I heard someone say something the other day that I thought was funny and accurate about Philly fans. They’re the type of people who punch police horses when they’re happy.

Two things: 1.) I think people are being too quick to crown the Ravens. They look like world beaters right now, but I’ve got a hunch they’re gonna catch an early stray and that’ll be it. 2.) We gave him :censored: all season for being melodramatic, but @BBTVwas right about the Eagles. Frauds.

Ehh, it’s the Lions. They just won the division for the first time in three decades, and a win would’ve pulled them tied for the top spot. They’re playing with house money at this point. You kinda have to go for it there. Probably not a smart decision, but I totally get it.

Florida State legit ruined the Orange Bowl this year for the broadcasters and I’m so here for that.

I actually wonder if the expanded playoff is going to make it even worse. I could see a good handful of prospective first/second round guys looking at the prospect of playing increasingly more difficult/competitive teams for four extra weeks and saying lol nope. Not even a college title is worth the risk of having to play Michigan, Bama, and Georgia (or whoever) three straight weeks.

We’ve seen guys opt out of big games before, but I think this year is probably the breaking point for opt outs. Mentality seems that if I’m not playing for a National Championship, why would I bother risking injury in ANY other meaningless game to make this school that isn’t paying me even more money? I can’t say I disagree with that. I’m starting to get the feeling that the bowl committee leaving out FSU was the final straw for a lot of these guys, and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna ruin the bowl game setup.

Imagine if the Browns were in this position and they hadn’t already preemptively ruined the good feels by signing a rapist to the largest ever guaranteed deal in league history. Much like winning the finals in those ugly black sleeved jerseys, Cleveland just can’t have nice things.
