  1. Yeah same here. I like the idea of the shark biting the stick logo more than the actual execution. The original was awesome for its time but looks really dated now. The current logo I’ve never liked. I saw it before it was released with @Cujo and @Puckguy14 and we were already calling it PikaShark. It just looks really goofy and not really like a shark. It looks square and kind of gives off a BTTFII hologram shark vibe. The updated logos they put out a few seasons ago were fine, but really generic and stale. Very strange that they crammed it into that logo set and even used it as a shoulder patch. It was painfully amateurish. The fin roundels have always been great, and I have no idea why they ever went away from that logo. I’m so glad they brought that back and are featuring it more prominently now. I hadn’t really thought about just bumping it to the primary logo status, but yeah I could get behind that.
  2. Yeah, I kind of agree. Also, put me down as someone who’s happy they finally ditched that nasty shade of orange. I call it ambergris.
  3. As long as they get the striping pattern down correctly, these are gonna RULE. The new updated fin logo is probably my favorite Sharks logo of all time.
  4. Yeah Doug is a pretty distant relationship to me (dad’s cousin’s kid), and my dad had an ENORMOUS family. I think I’ve only ever been in the same room with him once, and it was when I was very young. I actually have two extended family members that played in the NFL, and the other one is probably more well known (not well known like your cousin, though), but is an even further association. Peyton Hillis. He’s my late uncle’s (by marriage) nephew.
  5. The actual Super Bowl was a bit weird for me, as my cousin was on that Raiders team, and I grew up going to Raiders games and a ton of people I knew were HUGE Raiders fans. I was the only one who was really happy in the room for that one. Oh well. It was still great.
  6. Yeah they kicked the everloving out of us in those first two matchups, and twice in the regular season, too. By the time the third one rolled around, I was actually feeling kind of depressed about it. It was the last game at the Vet, the Bucs had never won a playoff game in the road or in the cold, so I figured it was over. Then Brain Mitchell nearly housed the opening kickoff and I had to get up and take a walk. But they kept it close and Barber clinched it with the pick six. Thats still my favorite ever Bucs game, and the only other time I thought they were for sure gonna get bounced and didn’t. Something about the Eagles, man.
  7. That’s the very best I’ve seen this dumb team play in a couple of seasons. Being on the west coast, I basically only get to watch when they’re in prime time (not often), and they almost always get torched. Like, embarrassingly so. The other option is when they play the 49ers and lol, that’s usually not fun, either. I’ve made the mistake of purchasing tickets to several of those games and I have never seen them win. They’ve given me a ton of playoff fun in the past four seasons and I’m so freakin grateful for that. We’re either getting the Bucs or the LIONS in the NFC title game. Who in the world would’ve called that before this season started?
  8. The Bucs exist as a franchise where the Eagles have merely visited in the past six weeks. When have you ever seen me trust this team?
  9. I still think Philly is gonna find a way, but I got an extra game again this season, so I’m happy. And this year they’re actually making the most of it rather than that disaster they put up vs Dallas last season.
  10. The first time you put Pad Statford. This must be his evil twin brother. The scoundrel.
  11. Glad I was wrong! I don’t think it’s going to happen, but if Tampa wins tomorrow, the NFC is pretty much perfect.
  12. Yeah this kind of always felt like how it was going to go for the Lions. Have a breakout season, but lose to a team that doesn’t have as much talent, but a lot more experience. Hope I’m wrong, but ehh. I don’t think I they’re very good, but the Rams feel like they could be really annoying in the playoffs. Niners fans I’m sure don’t want any part of having to play them again.
  13. How would you know? They’ve never been bad in your life. Green Bay is super wack, but they got rid of Captain Ivermectin and are just a regular well run organization now. I can see how that’s annoying (like I said, I think they’re super wack), but it was against Dallas. You never go full blown Dallas. Packers are like the (MLB) Cardinals now. You can’t deny that they’re a very well run organization. But you also can see why some people hate them and find their fans to be fart sniffers. But you still take them every single time vs :censored:in Dallas.
  14. I can just picture Arthur Smith, sitting in his daddy’s office in Memphis, just FUMING.
  15. Packers really did America a favor by helping us avoid a week of Cowboys fans in Vegas. That had the potential to start a nuclear war.
  16. What is going on here? Dallas just quit. I picked Green Bay by 20 before the game just messing around a bit, and I may end up well short
  17. Gotta do something to get past that vaunted Buccaneers NFC South run of success.
  18. I think people are kidding themselves if they think Tampa is gonna beat Philly tomorrow. But if they somehow do, I would much prefer them getting baptized in the other Bay Area next weekend. Much easier for me to see the game without any work when it’s against the Niners.
