One thing I just noticed. That’s the old D Snake logo. Not sure I like that part of it, as the updated one from 07 is better imo.

I like it a lot! I’m SO happy the D Snake is back. I get some of the dislike for it, but it’s got historical precedent for the Diamondbacks. This may be my new favorite D Backs hat.

I’m just hoping that whatever is left of the A’s Bay Area fanbase makes it so inhospitable for the team that they’re forced to leave the Bay Area before they’re ready to. Of all the kicks to the groin this team has delivered to their fanbase over the years, sticking around the Bay Area once the move is official for two or three years would be the absolute biggest one.

Good riddance. Enjoy playing in a city that will have no water in a decade.

I absolutely do not understand why the league allows that. They put so much time and effort into regulating so many different parts of how a player wears the uniform, yet still allow them to look like mom made them wear a sweatshirt under their pads at Pop Warner practice in October.

I started watching football the season the Cowboys beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl, and I grew up right smack dab in the heart of 49ers country. I was a bit of a weird kid (still am), so I picked the Bucs instead of going with what everyone else liked. In that time span I think the Bucs have had one of the lowest winning percentages of any team in the NFL, while the Niners have had one of the highest. Even with that, I’ve seen my Bucs win the Super Bowl twice, and have never seen any of my friends or family get to enjoy a Niners win. Football’s weird, man.

The Padres are like that movie Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. Just when you think they’re about to be released from the shackles of mediocrity, their owner dies before he can draft up and sign the pardon paperwork.

The Bills probably had their best shot during a time when few even really noticed that their window was really open yet, and both times they lost to Kansas City. Cold league, but thems the breaks.

I just kinda feel like we’re getting diminishing returns from this team. That’s usually not a great sign.

Seems like a desperate move from a bad coaching staff. I think McD’s days are numbered if Buffalo misses the playoffs.

Yeah his whole tenure was a disaster. Time to get someone in there who actually has a desire to navigate the system honestly.

Josh Allen kind of feels like a bigger, cold weather version of Jameis Winston.

If the Sharks would occasionally bring out black helmets and pants just to use as an alt with the home jersey this would be a nearly perfect set. I agree with the “update the old crest similar to the current shoulder patch” idea. The current primary logo is wonky and dumb looking and still includes that stupid yellowish orange in the triangle. Make the stick a darker orange (Giants orange would be nice) and banish that baby poop looking color to hell. I even think, as an alternative, the sharks should ditch the orange and instead just use a splash of red. Seems more fitting for a team called the Sharks.

Every time I see pictures of those uniforms I’m reminded of just how damn good they were. I hated the Rams, yet I still have an Issac Bruce jersey somewhere around here. Those rocked.

Basically this exact same thing happened last go around with the Patriots, and it’s one of the most goddamn frustrating parts of this league. It’s almost as if a certain team/market gets good after years of stagnation, and all of the sudden everything seems to line up perfectly for them with their schedule. I wouldn’t necessarily go as far as to say it’s “rigged” or anything like that, but I’m pretty convinced at least some of that “good luck” is steered a bit by the league. It’s very American of them, in that sense. Rich get richer.

Cold af on all sides, but it totally makes sense. Mark Jackson to Steve Kerr kinda move. Feel sick for Ross, and for Brewers fans, but it’s probably the right move.

And you need to find a new place to post all this garbage.

I love the yin and Yang in life. Like DFW having to watch the Rangers AND the Cowboys in the same week.

Yeah it’s happened a few times. Off the top of my head, St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Cavs. Giants and Red Sox both immediately changed their road jerseys they clinched their first title in. Merchandise production schedules make this kinda hard to avoid.

I don’t think they’ll have too much trouble winning the east. It’s kind of an overrated division IMO. But come playoff time when they have to play someone like Baltimore or KC again? Yeah, not gonna happen.

I have tickets to see these bums play against Toronto just after the new year. BiL was pretty gung Ho about it, and I think he’s already regretting getting them.

And there have been rumors that they may look to go elsewhere if SJ doesn’t publicly fund a new arena for them and the city is just like lol please leave! I’m not sure what the future of this team really is, but I’d have to assume it’ll be as a tenant at the Chase Center at some point in the not too distant future.

Sharks might just be the worst NHL team ever.

That is a bit strange. Like 2019 when three of the four were brand new/off a huge drought champions.
