  1. First favorite player, and one of the reasons I dropped the Niners for the Bucs. I even had a Merton Hanks jersey. Also, @Cujo is spot on. This Browns look is mid af.
  2. Tennessee has lost 17 of their last 19 meetings vs Florida. Loser ass program.
  3. To be completely fair I went to YouTube after to listen to an official version of the song and… Oof. That’s a rough one. Sounds very much like a product of the 1950s, and honestly would be rough for anyone to keep that tune. Then combine it with, as you said, Philly people being their ultimate Philly selves, and, yikes. At least HTTR had a nice little beat to it. You can almost bounce along with it at every word. Very easy fight song to follow along with. In contrast, FEF is a nightmare to sing along to.
  4. The Bears do that a decent amount, too. The year the Packers won the Super Bowl the Bears actually won the division and they faced off in the NFC title game. Outside of some mostly delusional Bears fans, nobody thought they were going to win that game.
  5. Is everyone in Philly just completely tone deaf or is that “Fly Eagles Fly” song always that dreadfully awful?
  6. Edit: don’t mind me, I once again have no idea what thread I’m in.
  7. That’s just it! The Eagles look kinda terrible right now, and they’re still just dominating because the Vikings are totally worthless. Frustrating, and I couldn’t give about the Vikings.
  8. I actively dislike every single NFC East team, but they at least are good football teams. Every time I watch a game featuring a team from the NFC north, I like football a little bit less. God, I really hope the Lions can be competitive because the Vikings and Bears ever being on prime time is just insulting at this point.
  9. Yeah, that’s it for Rodgers. Young athletes have problems coming back from an injury like that. A dude who’s about to turn 40 isn’t going to be able to return from something like that. Brutal.
  10. Lol, like, at least half of the league would be fine with this.
  11. This is actually probably a more fair comparison than you would think at first glance. And that’s not really even a knock, either. Rivers is a borderline HOFer. I think most teams would want that.
  12. It’s definitely over the top to call him a “liability”, but I feel like Josh Allen hasn’t been good in about the last ten games.
  13. Jets obviously can’t go another year with Wilson as the guy, because he simply isn’t the guy, and there are a few (sad) options out there. Unless…
  14. You’re likely right. But my overall point was that finally getting to see a trash team you’ve been a fan of for a long time be competitive is a real unique good feeling. A couple fanbases may get that this season. That’s rad.
  15. Hell yeah man, enjoy it. My Bucs three year fever dream is over so it’s back to being embarrassing again. I already miss it. NFL is already one of the most fun things ever, but it’s just on a different level when your idiot football team is finally worth watching. I imagine it’s how mouth breathers must’ve felt from 2017-2021. NGL, it’s quite the high.
  16. Well, if I wasn’t already excited for the season before (Don’t worry, I was) I sure am now. Nice work, Little Lion Men.
  17. I really don’t understand why the Lions would’ve accepted that holding call rather than just letting KC punt. Teams like the Chiefs and before them the Pats are frustrating not because they’re so good (which they are/were), but because they really just emphasize how dumb some of the coaches on the other side of the ball are. Astonishing to me how many wins those two teams have picked up on the backs of real idiot decisions made by the coaches they’re playing. You can’t knock them for taking advantage, but it just feels like so many games are swung by mistakes. NFL coaching reminds me of politics. You have one or two that are marginally effective, but they consistently run shop because the rest of these coaches are just morons who were in the right place at the right time.
  18. I don’t really have a problem with Sanders, but I still think Colorado is going to win, like, two games this season. Big win last weekend, but I still think it’s going to be an anomaly compared to the rest of the season.
  19. Ok so another fun alternative to that weird looking Seals script would be this jersey. Super funky, but I like that as well.
