  1. Damn. Well, go Nuggets, I guess. Who cares?
  2. Yeah the more I hear about this A’s Vegas move, the more outlandish it sounds, and the more I think it’s just never going to happen. Which is par for the course for the A’s because they’ve had about a million ideas on where to move and none of them ended up being real.
  3. Maybe climb down off of that high horse occasionally and quit being such a scold. Just a suggestion!
  4. How do you have this little self awareness? You hate the Warriors to legit weird levels and tell us just about every time you post in here. How do you expect to be above reproach on this? Like, I really don’t understand it. It’s like Fox politics levels of bad, and I wonder if you even notice. Anywhoo, pretty crazy to see the Heat AND Panthers both move to the conference finals as 8 seeds. Gotta be a fun time to be a Miami sports fan right now.
  5. You have absolutely no room to talk I do hope you’re happy that your personal tormentor is finally out of the playoffs, though. That being said, ah well. Been a great run and they had to run out of gas eventually. There are so many miles on the core three, and Draymond has nearly completely lost his mind. I hope they can retool, but this is probably where this big run comes to an end. The supporting cast was legit terrible for the Warriors this year and the starters just can’t make up the difference any longer. I’m interested to see where the Warriors go from here, and am mostly just so appreciative of all that’s come of this. Eight years that completely changed the trajectory of basketball in the Bay Area. This has been very fun. I can’t possibly see the Lakers getting past the Nuggets, but who knows. As long as we don’t get another Lakers Celtics final, I’ll be good.
  6. Lol, this is almost exactly what happened to the Sacramento MLS bid, and we all know how that turned out. Two Warren Smith teams snubbed for a spot that doesn’t really exist. Unbelievable.
  7. Warriors gotta feel dumb about that contract they gave Jordan Poole. Maybe Draymond was right
  8. I went to ASU and part of the “taxes” I had to pay on my education went directly to propping that sad organization up, so yeah, it kind of is our money. Also LOL to the idea that Houston is more of a wasteland than Phoenix. Don’t get me wrong, they both suck and are miserable places to be in the middle of the year especially, but Phoenix is uniquely depressing.
  9. Well, one good thing about the Cardinals sponsor patch is at least they’re matching the background to the uniform. I don’t think any other team has done that yet.
  10. I mean, Denver is the #1 seed in the West and finally have everyone/most everyone healthy for this playoff run. I don’t think it’s all that much of a surprise that they’re playing this well. It kinda feels like their year. Now, for someone who is NOT having a good year. Dillon Brooks Told He Won't Return to Grizzlies 'Under Any Circumstances' Good riddance. If you insist on going the Draymond route, you’d better be damn sure you can back all of that nonsense up with your play. Draymond is one of the best defenders in the history of the league and is legit the glue that keeps the Warriors together, and even he’s on a razors edge when it comes to people putting up with his antics. You pull that kinda crap and then go out and play the way Dillon Brooks just did? You’ll be lucky to keep a job at Dairy Queen.
  11. Even now that he has an audience, it’s still got a very screaming into the void vibe. Keeps it consistent.
  12. I honestly would not mind a Texans version of this. The fade to blue I could live without (but I don’t hate it, either), but the red satin finish is actually great.
  13. Worth it for Lebatard this week.
  14. GREAT series. Kings have a really bright future, and should’ve earned a lot of people’s respect. Warriors are just about the toughest opponent you could possibly get and they kept swinging until the very end. This team has more character in its small toes than the Grizzlies have ever had in their entire being. MAD respect to them for how they played. I can’t wait to see where they go from here. Now, I think the Warriors should handle the Lakers, but I kinda feel like whoever does is gonna get run over by Denver. We’ll see, I guess!
  15. I mean, these guys are all coming from major colleges and universities. It’s basically four years of talking about what “specimens” the co-eds are. It weirdly comes with that particular territory.
  16. Pretty hilarious that Zeke had the gall to put out a list of teams he preferred to play for. Lol, like, ok dude. And I’d like to play for the Buccaneers, 49ers, or be an astronaut.
  17. The first thing I remember really sticking (he had long since been a detestable :censored: before this. The “black bodies” thing goes all the way back to the 80s, I believe) was the feud he had with Baron Davis. Sterling had a long history of antagonizing black players he didn’t like, but Davis was probably the highest profile player he had done that to at the time. That feels like the point where people started taking public notice on and pushing back on some of his trash.
  18. Yes. HUGE win for the Kings tonight. What a fantastic series this has been and game 7 in Sacramento. What a fun time it must be to be a Kings fan! Also, :censored:ing Grizzlies. Get gone, you losers.
  19. I remember a few years ago the Vikings helmets and jerseys were just different enough to bug the absolute hell out of me. But then they went and altered it and fixed that issue. I’m just hoping that’s what the Texans decide to do here, because as it stands it looks like they took their regular helmets and sent them to the American Chopper guys to bling them out. They just don’t work with that particular shade of red jersey and actually look kind of gaudy with that particular finish. Like, distractingly gaudy.
  20. One of the biggest things about the playoffs is the experience that guys have. It counts for a ton, and both the Lakers and Warriors are showing that. Kings have played fantastic this series, and are only down because the Warriors know how to keep it calm late in games long enough to pull them out. Kings have gone into panic mode a bit here at the end of games and it’s cost them. That’s to be expected though from a squad this young and inexperienced. Kings have a brighter future than they’ve ever had, and have sort of put the league on notice. It’s not quite their time yet, though. I’d be VERY surprised if they were to win game six. At least in the next round you’ll have one of the Lakers or Warriors going home. Hopefully it’s the Lakers but I’m sure that’s not a popular take.
  21. If they’re gonna do that then hey maybe the A’s should look closer at Nashville after all! Who needs schools and public services? SPORTS!
