  1. God, that letter is the perfect embodiment of the Coytoes as an organization. They're so quick to get out their "Look, bitch" response, that it basically came across as an emotionally fueled Facebook post after someone told them to cut out posting so many cat memes. They're even crooked in their official letters!
  2. If that were to happen, I'd go to EVERY road game my team played in and start hucking whatever I could lift onto the ice. Beware, small children under 50 pounds.
  3. I agree. I like that the Mets ring is a bit subdued. It fits really well for a team that won the pennant, yet didn't win the World Series.
  4. I definitey wouldn't put Cano with those other two. He's actually put up pretty good numbers in Seattle.
  5. I find that to be pretty disappointing, actually. The horse heads should be their thing on Super Bowl rings, IMO. As for the whole, "What about when they have so many championships that they cant fit any more horse heads?!" argument? Well, that sounds like a pretty good problem to have, right?
  6. This may have already been covered, and if it has I apologize (and could you direct me to where the fix is shown?), but is anyone else finding the quote feature to be an absolute nightmare? Every time I want to quote a post, it keeps tossing in other posts I've previously quoted in other threads. Worse than that, I can't even delete the old quote boxes. I'v tried several different browsers, have restarted just about everything I can think of, and still nothing.
  7. There's a pretty solid documentary about electric football that ESPN put out about a year ago. It's Not Crazy, It's Sports: The Subterranean Stadium
  8. That's completely crazy. And probably the coolest thing I've ever heard. I can't even imagine the premiums you must pay for the insurance policy to cover that kind of collection.
  9. He's also a hockey player who barely knows how to skate. Comes with the territory.
  10. That seems like a bit of a strange indictment to make because he got joke-voted into a fake hockey game. We get it, you don't like that John Scott "Damaged the integrity of the glorious Canadian slidey-puck superstars" event. But come on, man. He's not actively kicking puppies on Good Morning America or anything.
  11. I like that you've finally changed the size of the header logo. That's always bugged me a bit. The resizing is a bold move design wise, but I think it really helps your brand to stand out from the background a bit better. It's also fitting considering the Canadian influence we have here. It's a nice nod to the original Toronto Raptors jerseys.
  12. Sigh, you removed the "back to the top of the page" button again. That is seriously a HUGELY underrated feature and it's always annoying as hell when the boards doesn't have it.
  13. All three are equally beautiful in my eyes! If I had to pick though, I'd go with 2010. I love the round gold band on the face of the ring, and that one was easily the most special.
  14. Honestly, after living there for awhile, it really feels like the Coyotes have sufficiently salted the Phoenix earth. I can't see them really ever finding much support no matter where they are in the valley. They've already done too much damage.
  15. The R/W/B is absolutely stupid, but the set itself is pretty solid. That road wordmark with the bats dotting the i's is awesome. Another annoying thing, and I always hate when teams do this. The bat logo is wearing a navy cap with a red bull and a solid LB logo. Why in the world doesn't the team either have that exact hat as an option, or why is the logo wrong on their alternate logo?
  16. I can't think of another championship ring that has taken more of a team (as in players) approach to the design of a ring. Having every player's number within the 2015, and a depiction of the "team" holding up the Larry O'Brien trophy creates a nice narrative. Combine that with inside and outside elements of Oracle Arena on the ring and you have a very unique design. I agree. My first thought when seeing it was that the only other ring that I feel has as many personal elements to it is the Lakers 2010 ring, which lo and behold, is also a J of BH product. They may be a bit different, and some could even call them a bit gimmicky, but frankly I really like the stuff they put out. They go in a totally different direction than Tiffany and Jostens, but I think that's a good thing.
  17. This is a pretty good writeup on the Warriors new championship rings. The more I see of them, the more I like them. http://www.nba.com/warriors/news/2015-championship-rings-hidden-gems
  18. My goodness, that thing really is HUGE. I think it looks fantastic. The blue lattice work around the face is a great touch. Reminds me of The Oracle.
  19. It was really strange how they gave them to the players, too. Absolutely no box, sitting on a rickety ass looking stand, and the owners basically just kinda flipped them to the players and said, here you go! I'm kinda surprised nobody dropped it. From what I've seen, they look absolutely gorgeous (but they could be made out of giant turds and I'd still like them because they're championship rings for another Bay Area team). I wanna hold judgement a bit till I get a better up close look at them.
