  1. Yeah even if Ole Miss wore white pants with the regular thick red and navy stripes it'd look better than no stripes.
  2. I just assumed Pitt wore blue pants because they were forced to wear blue jerseys for an away game. I don't see them wearing a blue helmet any time soon, but I could be wrong. BC's "throwback" look continues to be better than their regular uniforms.
  3. If they stick with white pants for everything, they really need red stripes on them. I understand why’d they want to get away from silver/gray, though it always looked nice aesthetically.
  4. They always look great when they stick to the four combos that come with carolina blue helmets, regular home and/or road jerseys, and carolina blue and/or white pants. Navy's a nice accent color for them but should never be the primary focus in their football sets.
  5. The satin red UNLV helmets were better than the new ones. Don’t like this update... it’s not crazy cool and really, it’s just not needed.
  6. 3mm/yr x 10 years = 30 mm = 3 cm = 1.2 inches. Pretty sure 10 years is a bit aggressive to be making hyperbolic doomsday predictions. I mean, Boca Raton is 13 feet above sea level.
  7. I have to say...UA did a better job. This Nike set isn't terrible, but I hate the numbers on one side of the helmet, and the new wordmark is a slight downgrade
  8. The helmet would be far better without the skyline. It's also weird that Vandy uses a naval theme but their color choices (e.g., gold helmets, gray pants worn last year) look like something Army would wear.
  9. Pretty sure that's a pre-game picture. The helmet was supposed to look like that.
  10. Texas Tech's throwbacks today are better than their regular uniforms. I always liked the black helmet look over the white throwback helmet. It reminds me of the early 90s Maryland uniforms (black helmet, red facemask, w/r/w stripes, red jersey, white pants)...but I really liked that look too back in the day. Virginia looks good, but they need a navy facemask instead of gray, plus white/orange/white is their best look. Georgia looks good...it's a good looking throwback. Overall, Oklahoma State has the best uni of the day, IMO.
  11. These, along with the matching orange jerseys, are still the best uniforms they've ever worn in Stillwater.
  12. These look better on TV than on Twitter...I like 'em.
  13. Yeah Syracuse vs Pitt is aesthetically awesome... In other games Tulane looks great in white/green/white, and I always like Oklahoma State in a white/orange/white set.
  14. Georgia celebrated 100 years of Georgia football in 1992...was there something that said the sleeves are celebrating 100 years of football this year?
  15. My guess is Mizzou - the 2019 striped helmet didn't really go with the 2018 unis. edit: Nevermind, Mizzou FB Twitter recently posted pictures of players wearing the same unis as last year for 2020.
  16. Iowa State's all cardinal look is pretty good, but I do think they could wear yellow pants with it, or a yellow helmet with a cardinal stripe & facemask.
  17. West Virginia's white/navy/navy uniform is one of the worst looks in college football...yet...
  18. https://abcnews.go.com/News/history-clenched-fist/story?id=39006994
  19. Georgia Tech has updated its field:
  20. Look like Wake is bringing back the glossy helmets (they've had matte the last few seasons). Old deacon still on the neck...
  21. I could have sworn there was a picture of UVA's lockerroom corner where the blue jerseys were hanging with the new number font...and the numbers were plain white... This might have been it...it was a while back... The bevel on the V is really a downgrade. Looked better sans bevel. The rest of the look is pretty great.
  22. Where are the sleeve stripes that were on the Flutie jerseys? They were able to put the stripes on the homes the last couple of years:
  23. The stripes on the white helmet are different than the stripes on the white pants. So yes, they are mismatched. The inverted stripes on the jersey are fine.
  24. Yes, the WF logo is still the main one. This new deacon will probably replace the cartoony profile version that's been around 30 or so years. This new one looks pretty good...I like the older one too but it just doesn't fit in the new brand.
  25. Looks like a new Wake Forest logo is set for 2020: The top hat was introduced in 2019 as a "complementary mark" but this is the first time I've seen the new deacon. From 2019: https://godeacs.com/news/2019/10/1/general-wake-forest-athletics-refreshes-its-brand.aspx
