If I recall correctly, don't they have a helmet that's red-white-and-blue? Is that just a secondary thing? I thought blue was their accent color for football. Any red-white-and-blue they use is patriotic only. The blue is not part of the normal scheme.

The piping was fixed in a patch last year. And the helmet logo was moved higher up the shell (it was way too low in these screenshots). But pretty embarrassing nonetheless.

This one is pretty obscure, but I liked it better when the Mets had a white outline to their numbers and NOB on the pinstripes. I love the Mets' pinstripes (all though the snow-whites with piping and no-drop shadow were also beautiful). The white outline just set the numbers off and made the look less cluttered, IMO. I also miss that glacier twill.

Black, blue, and silver is such a great look for that team. The design kinda sucks, but the number font is cool. Those shoulder patches were/are pretty sweet. If only they could get away from the current look...

Yes, I also think they need black, but only as a trim color. They don't need to be a red and black team because we already have enough of those in hockey. Agreed. I would love to see some teams like Tampa Bay or San Jose go with something different. I love their jerseys but hate the logo. They could have easily just recolored what they had, despite what the owner or whoever was said when they were unveiled. I think they should've went with an entirely different identity when they left Minneapolis. I get the nod to the North Stars, but I've just never been a fan of what they later became (adding black for the most of it). I also think it looks incredibly weird that a Dallas-based team isn't using blue, but that's more of a personal perspective of mine. I still think their current look is the best they've ever looked as the "Dallas Stars". Also, I would've prefer if they went with "Texas" instead of "Dallas" because they're the only NHL team in their state. I'm excited to see Michigan Red Wings and the Massachusetts Bruins start up next season. Some teams can use their state name; Michigan and Massachusetts aren't one of them. But they are the only teams in their states...

I might actually agree with you on this one, I'm just interested in why you think the M is better? For me the M represents an entire state, the TC just represents 2 cities.The Twins were the first team to be named after something other than a city. So the "TC" is a nod to the two cities that they could have named the team for. That is the beauty of the "TC." Though I acknowledge that this historic beauty is diminished by the fact that they dumped it for the "M." Also,I do knot know this but I always figured that they avoided an "M" because it could be interpreted as standing for Minneapolis. Wait...they were named for something other than a city? The old logo really wasn't cartoonish. Plus the old version tied in nicely to the standing bronco on top of the scoreboard.

But they should be in real vests (like in the old photos), not regular jerseys sans sleeves.

Teal? It was blue. And it could easily been based off the Congressional seal, as it has the color closer to the Caps wore, whereas the Presidential seal is usually more navy in color..

Those unis were the best Disagree. These are one of, if not the best uniforms in the NBA Gotta ditch the Copperplate to even be considered the best. I don't know why everyone hates the copperplate so much. Is it great? No. Its not bad though. I think it fits with the identity just fine. You guys seriously don't think that awful western-y font they used to have is better, do you? Agreed. Copperplate is overused, but it is a good font. And this is one of the cases where it's used properly. I usually think of Copperplate as being used on architecture, which makes it a good fit for the team's current bridge motif. Really? What buildings use Copperplate?

This number font is a billion times better than Copperplate.

So there are two C's in the logo? That might be worse.

+1. Its a solid look with a championship behind it. No need for a change. Piping? Check. Weird color blocks around the sleeves? Check. Random color blocks on the shorts that don't have anything to do with anything? Check. Colors that don't appear in the main logo? Check. Collar design from 2000 when Nike designed it? Check. Weird back neck collar? Check. Yep. Solid.

They're ok, except when they look like urine-stained sheets. Or when the cap logo is predominantly bright white.

The only problem with this design is when you tuck the jersey into the shorts, the side panels won't line up. Probably one of the reasons the FloJos didn't try it. The white jersey is like a NBA version of the St. Louis Blues.
