  1. I like this color, it looks great on the basketball and soccer unis/kits, and I actually don’t hate it for football. It’s the color the Rays should add to their unis (in small amount only)
  2. Northwestern with throwback white face masks looks pretty awesome. https://mobile.twitter.com/NUFBFamily/status/1330250023360196610
  3. The tapered stripes never really made sense. Good move for the Gators.
  4. Pretty clever how they made sleeve stripes look like waves!
  5. They did; the helmets were generally lighter than the jerseys. The throwback uniforms look great today; I didn't notice the color difference until I logged on here.
  6. That's how the Spartans wore it in the 80s and 90s.
  7. The 90s helmets had much thicker navy helmet stripes...thus making the "it's in the details" line pretty ironic.
  8. Should be the alternate every year. The S looks great on that satin finish.
  9. These are better than what they currently wear, tbh. The sleeves on this throwback need thicker stripes though...and I think the train logo needs be on the pants.
  10. Nah. It would just look like an extra shiny version of Navy's helmet.
  11. Looks fine here...probably an issue with lighting or how the tv cameras can make shades of colors look different than real life.
  12. Dud Indiana change the helmet logos? They look wide and a more “fat”, so to speak. The trident on the helmet is the old curved version I think.
  13. Could be that the Desert Swam unis will be for home games only. Their Twitter feed still has a lot of promotional photos with all-navy and all-red, so maybe the Desert Swarms are still alternates.
  14. New Mexico is in red jerseys vs SJSU in blue jerseys. New Mexico looks great in their silver helmets and classic (2000s) Lobo decals.
  15. At the very least Sparty needs a thick green stripe on the pants. Doesn’t need to be tapered, either (the tapered stripe is supposed to be a helmet plume)
  16. Kinda looks like early 90s Arizona State (early Plummer years)
  17. The Lakers center court logo with the 3d effect was always a favorite of mine in the early 2000s. My only complaint is the Lakers wordmark here is kinda boring...but overall the court looks good.
  18. I kinda like it because the jersey has a nostalgic feel (esp with the split stripes on the sleeves and the traditional number font). The helmet's not the worst I've seen (though not as good as the regular gold helmet) and at least the pants are gold. It's weird how they spent a lot of money to have adidas tell them they need to be gold white and navy...and now "Hey we're back to black again".
  19. Time to go back to script Terps on the helmets. Black glossy helmets with red script Terps, with red and white stripes, would look pretty awesome.
  20. I agree...they re-introduced the classic helmet stripe pattern in 2019, and I figured this would be the year they'd unveil a new jersey and pants. Maybe 2021?
  21. This helmet should be Missouri's helmet full time...the block M just works better with the classic stripes than the tiger logo.
  22. Helmet logos will always be around. I’m just saying Texas doesn’t need the wordmark. You don’t see big wordmark identifiers on Alabama, USC, Michigan, or Ohio State.
  23. That’s kind of the point though...they don’t really need Texas on there because the colors are so unique. Mississippi State is also a maroon and white team (though gray pants have been worn regularly in recent years)
  24. If I asked you to name a FBS team that had white helmets and dark burnt orange jerseys (or burnt orange numbers on white jerseys) with a double stripe on the sleeves...the only team you would name is Texas. Their overall look is that unique. Compare that to "The team I'm thinking about is maroon and white" or the like.
  25. Texas introduced 1970 championship throwbacks: It essentially looks like a modern update to the current unis. As much as I love the "Texas" on the front of the regular jerseys (it's just classic)...the unis really don't need it thanks to a strong brand.
