  1. The letters look like the NOB in the 98-2007(?) NOB italicized font
  2. White helmet navy facemask at the first unveiling of the name I think.
  3. nm wrong thread - saw Washington and college uniforms and thought I was in the college thread.
  4. I really liked the Disney set, but moreso out of nostalgia I think. The set reminds me of the best days of SportsCenter and the peak of sports magazines and catalogs. The gray set always looked better than the white set, IMO, for whatever reason. The faux vests were bad, the wordmark’s drop shadow wasn’t great, the pinstripes probably weren’t necessary, and the logo could definitely be improved a little (maybe just use a wing and get rid of the whizzing baseball). The number font was unique and pretty fantastic though (I liked the two color treatment on the front and three color number on the back. I liked the all navy cap with the light blue button. In the end though, I can’t say it was better than the CA set before it or the red-A set after it.
  5. I appreciate all the updates that the mothership has made this year. It's always fun to see the updates. There was a great update to the Angels history, but there's an error for Anaheim hats that's been there a while - the 97-2001 hat needs a light blue sqautchee/button, and the alternate hat with the light blue brim and red squatchee/button needs to be added to the site.
  6. 2008? I don't think so. The picture in the article below shows a drop shadow. https://www.yardbarker.com/mlb/articles/the_2015_kansas_city_royals_quiz/s1__20359588 The mothership shows the drop shadow being eliminated for the 2019 season, so I was mistaken about the change happening for 2022.
  7. The three adidas stripes on the shoulders don’t looked forced at all and just a happy coincidence, I’m sure. I do like the wordmark…the whole thing would look way better if one or two stripes were red.
  8. New road uni, two new alts. Sleeve piping is now thick stripe. And I think the sleeve patches no longer have the black drop shadow that had been around forever. The powder blue jersey is really cool.
  9. Royals' social media team knows all the photoshop tricks that plagued unveilings in the past: https://fox4kc.com/sports/royals/spoiler-alert-kansas-city-royals-leave-hidden-message-in-new-uniform-tease/
  10. Kings will wear their new alternate jerseys tonight against the Caps, which means the Caps brought two sets of unis (white at Anaheim, blue or red at LA)
  11. With so few changes in 2021, I'd expect to see several changes for 2022. Nike's rolling out a new template as well. Some might be unveiled in February (which would seem odd as it would miss holidays but maybe it takes advantage of the ST surge after football season). Interested to see what the Royals unveil on Friday.
  12. Cincinnati needs a refresh that just uses red and white
  13. This is fantastic but I think I'd take "San Diego" off the center court logo and enlarge the Clippers script.
  14. I thought the Ducks jerseys improved with the patches, but I like shoulder patches, it fit the brand, and gave the team another logo to use other than the primary logo The 97-99 years are probably my favorite for the Ducks. I really liked all four jerseys., though the black equipment was a downgrade from the eggplant.
  15. I think the current uniforms have too much black. Take that jersey^^, make the top stripe orange, the big bottom stripe gold, and the thin stripe black, and it might look better.
  16. I have nothing to back this up other than a Kyler Murray tweet from 2020 but I hope the Cardinals get an update next year. The 2000s era unis seem to have phased out except for the team in the desert.
  17. I don't know if this makes sense. If Melnyk wouldn't pass up extra cash, then there's no price that's too high, and I don't think the ads were on there for free last year.
  18. Wasn't the intention to wear the 80s "FLAMES" wordmark decals when the team unveiled the full retro set last year?
  19. The Golden Knights just go by “Vegas”…hence the Las comment…
  20. For some reason TNT has the Kings’ logo as black and (very deliberately) gold on all graphics other than the bug.
  21. They’re really easy to read for me. White numbers on navy would have looked really bland.
  22. The Sens had the same jersey in NHL 94 and it's really just the Blackhawks RR jersey.
  23. I think they have another national broadcast game...sometime in November, IIRC.
