Regular fitted mesh hats went on sale last year. Just a fashion hat, but we’ll probably see something similar this year. On field replica is exactly as it sounds, a replica of the Authentic Collection (that’s the important label) on field hat. Also, new ST hats have the new ST logo on the side.

At least this is a new leak of the ST hats...Cubs going with 90s angry bear is somewhat different.

I dunno, maybe they had posters or other decorations or merchandise that would give someone a "strong hint" of these looks. Most people just say "Hey someone told me about what's coming"

As a manufacturer you have to assume ST will happen. You have to have product ready to be worn the moment the lockout ends. It’s a safe bet teams already have the hats and just need to get that thumbs up to put the boxes of hats on their trucks. And then they also have to have BP caps ready at some point (which we’ve seen are just the same hats without ST logos). The vast majority of 20–21 ST/BP hats are sold out online, so not having a new product to sell would be a huge loss for NE and Fanatics. Fanatics has all the graphics…they just need to make the links live. It’s really that old saying of “better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it”

Well we've already had one uni overhaul...and there's been talk about 15 alternate helmets (which we assume means new throwback jerseys for at least the Pats and Bucs).

The point for New Era and the stores is to make money. The 2022 designs have already been finalized. Why would players wear 2021 stuff after the lockout ended?

Agreed, but with that said, it's still a decent concept if the current logo is used.

This is the latest release of BP/ST hats since at least 2013...we've only seen 39thirty versions that are tonal mesh hats, and I can only find leaks for Nats and Blue Jays. There's a New Era tweet that says ST hats will be released in late February.

I'd think they'd make the logo purple if they went with a white version of their current RR. Not sure if a primarily white logo on white jersey would be a great choice. They may go with a gold jersey with the white logo...

Why do I have a feeling that all alt helmets that aren’t throwbacks will be black or white (though the Chargers might have a navy helmet but who knows)

There’s a small chance it could be a white helmet with a midnight green wing, perhaps as an homage to the late 60s/early 70s. But I think odds are good it will be black. Not sure what the helmet rules will be in terms of minimum seasons. Also, a Uniwatch article from December reported 15 teams will have alternate helmets, with the only assurance being the Raiders not having one. So if we have 9 and are trying to get to 15, seems like Bucs, Pats, Falcons, and Chargers would likely be added.

This is good info…the upcharges (for the Saints and Jets) are usually related to different paint jobs or chrome elements. Interested in that Eagles helmet if it’s not the throwback we expect in 2023.

Boston/Fenway will get the 2023 Winter Classic so it'll be exciting to see the 19th 4th WC jersey for the Bruins.

Also more good looks I think these would look pretty good, because they all have some historical context: Bills with blue facemasks Patriots with gray facemasks Jets with white facemasks Dolphins with aqua facemasks I'm sure I could do an alternate facemask for most teams and they'd look pretty good

Maybe purple jersey with a jade wordmark would look cool. If they bring back that jersey and it's still just mostly purple and black it'll be a miss.

The Logano car looks weird - but maybe looks better - without the "flames"..I saw his car in person once and looked far better than it came across in pictures or TV. That Wood Brother's 21 car is always a classic look.

I always liked the shield better than the forward-facing bird - the shield just uses the space better - but one slight change they could make that only a few people might notice would be to make the helmet stripes metallic chrome purple (not shiny chrome)...those kinds of decals kind of bend light differently than regular glossy decals. May give off a better raven-like effect.

Take out the pedestal, and reduce the yoke to a stripe below the sleeve numbers (while moving the other stripes down the sleeve) and it's a pretty cool modern update of that set.
