  1. It's still a good looking jersey...I realize the dark jerseys are supposed to be superior as they fully encompass the brands, but this is one of the four or five exceptions in the league, I think.
  2. Not awful, but not great. I honestly think it'd look better as blue numbers with silver and burgandy outlines, and burgandy NOB. The gray now looks a bit out of place on that jersey.
  3. Well, I know how he got there:
  4. It was the AFL anniversary and franchise’s 50th year. When did the Chiefs wear the Dallas Texans jerseys before 2009?
  5. When’s the last time the Chiefs wore the Dallas Texans uniform?
  6. A Minnesota state outline with MN on it (which it could very well be) seems redundant, IMO. If it's the North Stars star I would expect the stitching to keep the point and not crop it, plus I would expect it to be filled in.
  7. Just make the shoulders green and it's perfect. No real need for that red square yoke.
  8. Doesn't look awful (and might work on the white jersey as it mimics the stripes) but it looked best on the Winter Classics.
  9. These all look better with double outlines (though the Panthers' double-outlined NOB wasn't good):
  10. You realize the NFL dwarfs MLB in merchandise sales, correct? NFL hats are probably even with MLB, if not more. On Fanatics, there are 5,633 SKUs of NFL New Era hats, and 3,337 SKUs of MLB New Era hats.
  11. Without the MLB deal New Era would have...the NFL and NBA... Not really "hardly anything".
  12. Penn State looked better when they had contrasting collars and cuffs Also USC (Trojans) should wear these as a throwback at some point, as they did have a lot of success in them (either with the gray facemasks or the crimson):
  13. I think the top two rows look better (and I think I like the double outlines for the Avs more than the single, for some reason).
  14. The Rams' blue pants are so unnecessary. Just go with yellow pants all the time, Rams.
  15. Even the Browns did a CR/modern version of a throwback (at the time in 2016) which the Packers could have done instead of all white. Maybe Nike didn't want the Vikings CR uni to be all purple/gold, and the Packers look really similar with green/gold.
  16. The 90s alts are not mentioned in that article, so they may be gone too despite the team announcing they’d be a “permanent” jersey in the rotation. Sounds like RR version 2.0 will be in 22-23.
  17. It’s always 50%+ off during Black Friday week.
  18. I love those uniforms. Totally due to nostalgia.
  19. I'm more or less amazed that teams are sticking with Color Rush socks considering there's no requirement for them to do so. The Giants could wear blue socks (or bring back 80s style socks) with the 80s throwback.
  20. Vaguely looks like a new set of white pants with three red stripes.
  21. I think an issue with this release date (for the Packers org, anyway) is that Madden will be available a few days prior to EA Play members...if the throwback is unlocked in the game, it'll be leaked before the reveal.
  22. They’ve had historic logos on sideline hats for the last three or four years. Buccaneers 2020 Sideline Hat Buccaneers 2018 Sideline Hat
  23. Jerseys from 2003-2015 era that are worse then that Flames set: The navy Buffalo set The apron Avs The blah Edge template sets for the Flyers, Senators, Penguins, Islanders The t-shirt Predators The navy checkerboard Predators The mooterus The Buffaslug The tiny full script Ducks set in black, orange, and gold The chrome Flyers The navy Blues jersey, along with the Edge arch piping The black and gold DALLAS jersey with numbers The black Islanders alternate Any jersey with front numbers
  24. Other than the shoulder patch placement (though most shoulder patches are higher towards the neck line in the adidas era)...it looks pretty good.
  25. On the 2021 sideline attire front, New Era released all the sideline hats this week and they're using this alternate logo for the Ravens, which does look better as a hat logo than the regular helmet logo. It's kind of reminiscent of the 90s Hawks and Timberwolves logos and current Grizzlies front-facing mark, but I sort of wish they'd use it more:
